Ned is a native of the Pocono area and has been an avid fisherman and nature lover his entire life. His many years of studying fish and birds up close have enabled him to add the fine details of color and movement that are needed for a realistic carving.  He has won numerous awards at carving shows and was awarded first place in a national contest for his carving of a goldfinch on a dogwood branch.

All carvings are done by hand from solid blocks of tupelo wood and then hand painted.
